At XYZ we specialise in the production of map products for use in computer systems of all types, including Geographic Information Systems (e.g. ArcView, ArcInfo, MapInfo, GeoMedia), the Web and Desk Top Publishing software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop). We are, though, equally at home in creating high quality mapping for publication, such as in leaflets and brochures. Our contract map can either be based on our own CityMap databases, or can utilise your data or that provided by third parties. We have particular skills in the following areas:

Cartographic production work for maps, brochures, books, CDs.

We are able to produce a full range of map products using either our own or other suppliers map data. Our Bartholomew trained cartographers can produce the highest quality products, whether these are detailed street maps, regional maps, or country/world maps. The examples below were for the 2000 Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Desk Diary (just click on the map to enlarge it).

We can use and of our array of data or your own to create the perfect custom map exactly suited to your requirements. This map was created using our GB database. The delivery areas are based on grouped postcode areas.

This map uses Bartholomew Raster mapping with Primary Care Trust boundary data and Hospital locations plotted over the top.

We are able to source appropriate large scale photography for all areas of the United Kingdom, and are willing to create vector and/or raster data to meet your requirements. Let us know what area you are interested in and we will be happy to quote for the production of mapping.

Creation of GIS datasets customised and ready to run with ArcView, MapInfo and Map Explorer.

This would include processing vector data, integration of raster imagery, registration of imagery and creation of symbolisation and so forth.

Creation of high quality raster map images in a range of styles.

We have a particular specialisation in work of this type, which combines our cartographic capabilities with our detailed knowledge of using raster images in GIS systems and on the Web.

Recent projects have included new images for the Bartholomew GB Maps on CD Version 2, and the Bartholomew 1:1 million scale map image for Europe.
