XYZ World 1:1 million Map Data

The World 1:1m Data is our most detailed International Coverage. It is intended for both the GIS user who needs moderately detailed mapping for large areas, and also for the publisher needing maps or data for world atlases, national maps and similar.

Europe

This was the first area to be undertaken, and it has therefore benefited from continuous improvement over the last eight years. Most recently it has been enhanced through the doubling of the number of named places that was required in order for us to be able to create the map plates for the EARTH atlas. EARTH has won many accolades, including the 2008 IMTA Best Book award.
